Hello! I’m Andrea.

Photography has been a part of my life for a very long time. It probably began in my junior high photography class, watching an image slowly appear in the school darkroom. Even then, I was fascinated by the camera’s ability to hold onto a moment. Years later, a photograph can bring you back to a particular time, place and feeling.

As I’ve photographed families, I’ve found myself drawn less to perfect poses and more to genuine connection. I’m especially drawn to the quiet moments that often become the most meaningful with time. Of course, I still love a classic portrait where everyone is smiling at the camera, but my goal has always been to create photographs that feel honest, beautiful and true to the people in them.

Originally from the western United States, I now call North Georgia home, where I live with my husband and two children. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me running, traveling, baking for family and friends and documenting everyday moments that make up an ordinary life.
